Description
This Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip combines a creamy cheesecake base with warm, spiced apples and a rich caramel topping, offering the perfect balance of sweet and tart flavors in every bite.
Ingredients
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled and diced
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup caramel sauce, plus more for drizzling
Pinch of salt
Graham crackers, pretzels, or apple slices for serving
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until smooth and fluffy.
2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the diced apples and a pinch of cinnamon, cooking for 5–7 minutes until just tender. Remove from heat and let cool.
3. Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly into a serving dish.
4. Gently fold the cooled apples into the caramel sauce, then spoon this mixture over the cheesecake layer.
5. Drizzle additional caramel sauce on top and sprinkle with a dash of cinnamon.
6. Serve immediately with graham crackers, pretzels, or apple slices.
Notes
Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to achieve a smooth texture.
Allow the sautéed apples to cool before adding them to prevent the dip from becoming runny.
For a lighter version, consider using Neufchâtel cheese or a sugar substitute.
This dip can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
