Description

These loaded baked potatoes bacon cheddar are everything you want in comfort food—crispy, cheesy, and totally satisfying. Perfect for busy weeknights or casual dinners.

Ingredients

Scale

4 large russet potatoes

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

6 slices crispy bacon, chopped

½ cup sour cream

¼ cup chopped green onions

Optional: butter, garlic powder, or hot sauce

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Scrub and dry potatoes, then rub with olive oil and season.

3. Place directly on oven rack and bake 45–60 minutes.

4. Cook bacon until crispy; set aside.

5. Slice baked potatoes open and fluff the inside with a fork.

6. Top each with cheddar and return to oven for 5–7 minutes.

7. Remove, then top with bacon, sour cream, and green onions.

8. Serve hot and enjoy.

Notes

Use russet potatoes for best results.

Don’t wrap in foil—bake directly on the rack for crispy skin.

Add chili, pulled pork, or veggies to make it a full meal.
