Description

This Orange Mint Infused Water offers a burst of sunshine and a cooling finish that awakens your palate without any added sugars or artificial flavors. It's perfect for hot afternoons or post-workout recovery, providing clean hydration and a budget-friendly luxury.

Ingredients

Scale

2 Large Fresh Oranges
1 Large Bunch Fresh Mint Leaves
2 quarts Filtered Water
2 cups Ice Cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash the oranges thoroughly and slice them into thin rounds
  2. Rinse the mint leaves and gently bruise them to release the oils
  3. Place the orange slices and bruised mint leaves in a large pitcher
  4. Fill the pitcher with cold, filtered water and add ice if serving immediately
  5. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes at room temperature or refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours
  6. Serve chilled, garnished with a sprig of mint and an orange slice

Notes

Remove the fruit and herbs after 24 hours to avoid bitterness.

For stronger flavor, let it steep longer, ideally overnight.
