Description

Ingredients

2 tea bags Dried Peppermint Tea
1/2 cup Filtered Water
3/4 cup Milk (Dairy or Plant-based)
12 tsp Natural Sweetener (Honey or Maple Syrup)
1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract


Instructions

  1. Boil the water to a full rolling boil (212°F)
  2. Steep the peppermint tea bags in boiling water for 5 to 7 minutes to create a strong concentrate
  3. Heat the milk in a small saucepan until it reaches 150°F without boiling
  4. Froth the milk using a handheld frother or whisk until the volume doubles
  5. Remove the tea bags and stir in sweetener and vanilla extract
  6. Pour the steamed milk into the tea concentrate, holding back the foam until the mug is nearly full

Notes

Using whole milk or barista-blend oat milk provides the best foam.

For a chocolate version, whisk in a teaspoon of cocoa powder while steeping.
