Ingredients
2 tea bags Dried Peppermint Tea
1/2 cup Filtered Water
3/4 cup Milk (Dairy or Plant-based)
1–2 tsp Natural Sweetener (Honey or Maple Syrup)
1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Boil the water to a full rolling boil (212°F)
- Steep the peppermint tea bags in boiling water for 5 to 7 minutes to create a strong concentrate
- Heat the milk in a small saucepan until it reaches 150°F without boiling
- Froth the milk using a handheld frother or whisk until the volume doubles
- Remove the tea bags and stir in sweetener and vanilla extract
- Pour the steamed milk into the tea concentrate, holding back the foam until the mug is nearly full
Notes
Using whole milk or barista-blend oat milk provides the best foam.
For a chocolate version, whisk in a teaspoon of cocoa powder while steeping.
