Ingredients
1.5 lbs Lean Ground Beef

2 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese
4 cups Tortilla Chips

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a large oven-safe skillet or 9×13 inch baking dish
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until no pink remains. Drain excess fat
- Stir in taco seasoning, black beans, corn, and diced tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes
- Transfer the mixture to the baking dish if not using an oven-safe skillet. Spread it evenly
- Top with a layer of slightly crushed tortilla chips, followed by shredded cheese
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly
- Garnish with sour cream and fresh cilantro before serving
Notes
For a healthier option, replace ground beef with ground turkey or chicken.
Keep chips large enough for crunch and avoid overbaking to maintain texture.
