Description

The American Flag Charcuterie Board is a visually stunning and nutritious appetizer perfect for patriotic celebrations, featuring fresh fruits, artisanal cheeses, and savory meats arranged to resemble the American flag.


Ingredients

1 cup Organic blueberries
1 cup Blackberries
1 cup Strawberries
1 cup Raspberries
1 cup Cherry tomatoes
1 cup Nitrate-free salami (sliced)
1 cup Fresh mozzarella pearls
1 cup Goat cheese
1 cup Cauliflower florets
1 cup Raw almonds
1 cup Star-shaped white cheddar or jicama slices
Fresh mint or rosemary (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Select a large rectangular wooden board or marble slab to serve as the canvas
  2. Place a small square bowl in the top left corner of the board and fill it with blueberries and blackberries
  3. Create the first red stripe using rows of strawberries or sliced salami, followed by a white stripe made of mozzarella pearls or almonds
  4. Continue alternating red and white stripes until you reach the bottom of the board
  5. Use a small star-shaped cookie cutter to create stars out of white cheddar or jicama and place them on top of the blue berries
  6. Tuck small sprigs of fresh mint or rosemary into any empty spaces for a touch of gree

Notes

Assemble the board no more than an hour before serving to maintain the freshness of the produce.

Wash and dry fruits well in advance to prevent bleeding of colors.
