Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside
- Roll out your pizza dough on parchment paper until it reaches desired thickness
- Spread a thin layer of barbecue sauce across the dough, leaving space around the edges
- Mix shredded chicken with two tablespoons of barbecue sauce in a bowl
- Distribute the chicken evenly over the base, then add a layer of mozzarella cheese
- Scatter thinly sliced red onions over the cheese
- Transfer the pizza on parchment onto the hot baking stone or tray
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the cheese bubbles and the crust is golden brow
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for three minutes before slicing
- Garnish with cilantro and extra sauce if desired
