These BBQ Meatballs are incredibly juicy, perfectly glazed, and packed with a smoky sweetness that the whole family will crave. This recipe allows you to prepare a gourmet meal in under 30 minutes, making it ideal for busy weeknights or last-minute entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb Lean Ground Beef or Turkey
1/2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
1 Large Egg
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
1 cup Barbecue Sauce
Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, Panko breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined
  3. Scoop about two tablespoons of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each
  4. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes
  5. Remove from the oven and coat each meatball with barbecue sauce
  6. Return to the oven for another 5 minutes
  7. Let the meatballs rest for 2 minutes before serving

Notes

Opt for organic or grass-fed meat for better flavor and nutrition.

For a gluten-free version, substitute Panko with almond flour or gluten-free breadcrumbs.
