These BBQ Meatballs are incredibly juicy, perfectly glazed, and packed with a smoky sweetness that the whole family will crave. This recipe allows you to prepare a gourmet meal in under 30 minutes, making it ideal for busy weeknights or last-minute entertaining.
Ingredients
1 lb Lean Ground Beef or Turkey
1/2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
1 Large Egg
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
1 cup Barbecue Sauce
Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, Panko breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined
- Scoop about two tablespoons of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each
- Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes
- Remove from the oven and coat each meatball with barbecue sauce
- Return to the oven for another 5 minutes
- Let the meatballs rest for 2 minutes before serving

For a gluten-free version, substitute Panko with almond flour or gluten-free breadcrumbs.
