Description

Experience the vibrant essence of Mediterranean wellness with every bite of these Caprese Skewers with Balsamic Glaze. This appetizer combines fresh mozzarella, vine-ripened tomatoes, and aromatic basil, elevated with a balsamic glaze for a sophisticated touch.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pint Cherry or Grape Tomatoes (organic)
8 ounces Bocconcini (Fresh Mini Mozzarella)
1 large bunch Fresh Basil Leaves
2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3 tablespoons Balsamic Glaze (Clean Label)
to taste Flaky Sea Salt
to taste Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash the cherry tomatoes and fresh basil leaves under cold running water. Pat them dry
  2. Drain the mozzarella balls thoroughly to remove moisture
  3. Assemble the skewers by sliding on one cherry tomato, followed by a folded basil leaf, and one mozzarella ball
  4. Repeat until all ingredients are used, placing two sets on larger skewers if desired
  5. Place the skewers on a serving platter
  6. Drizzle olive oil mixed with salt and pepper over the skewers and finish with balsamic glaze

Notes

Best enjoyed immediately after assembly but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 24 hours.

Do not recommend reheating; add oil and glaze just before serving.
