1 teaspoon Honey or Agave
Salt and Black Pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Prep the Chicken: If using chicken breasts, pound them to an even thickness
  2. Mix the Marinade: In a medium bowl or a large zip-top bag, combine olive oil, lime juice, chopped cilantro, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, honey, salt, and pepper. Whisk or shake until combined
  3. Marinate: Add chicken to the marinade, ensuring each piece is coated. If using a bag, squeeze out excess air before sealing
  4. Chill: Place the chicken in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 4 hours
  5. Cook: Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F
  6. Rest: Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing
