Ingredients

2 cans (approx. 29 oz each) Canned Sliced Peaches in heavy syrup or juice
1 box (approx. 15.25 oz) Yellow or Vanilla Cake Mix
3/4 cup Unsalted Butter (1.5 sticks)
1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamo
1/4 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish
  2. Pour the contents of the first can of peaches into the bottom of the dish. Drain about half of the syrup from the second can before adding the peaches
  3. Sprinkle the cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract evenly over the peaches, then stir gently once
  4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top of the peaches without stirring
  5. Cut the cold butter into thin pats and place them across the surface of the cake mix
  6. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes until bubbling at the edges and the topping is golden brow
  7. Allow to sit for 10-15 minutes before serving
