Ingredients
2 cans (approx. 29 oz each) Canned Sliced Peaches in heavy syrup or juice
1 box (approx. 15.25 oz) Yellow or Vanilla Cake Mix
3/4 cup Unsalted Butter (1.5 sticks)
1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamo
1/4 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish
- Pour the contents of the first can of peaches into the bottom of the dish. Drain about half of the syrup from the second can before adding the peaches
- Sprinkle the cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract evenly over the peaches, then stir gently once
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top of the peaches without stirring
- Cut the cold butter into thin pats and place them across the surface of the cake mix
- Bake for 45 to 55 minutes until bubbling at the edges and the topping is golden brow
- Allow to sit for 10-15 minutes before serving
