Ingredients

1.5 lbs Chicken Breast or Thighs
1/2 cup Hoisin Sauce
1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger, minced
3 cloves Garlic Cloves, minced
2 cups Broccoli Florets
1 large Red Bell Pepper, sliced
2 tablespoons Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
1 teaspoon Toasted Sesame Oil
1 tablespoon Cornstarch


Instructions

  1. Start by slicing the chicken into bite-sized, uniform pieces and pat it dry
  2. In a small bowl, combine the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, toasted sesame oil, and cornstarch; whisk until smooth
  3. Heat a pan over high heat with oil, add the chicken in a single layer, and sear for 2-3 minutes then flip and cook for 2 more minutes
  4. Add minced garlic and ginger to the pan and stir constantly for about 30 seconds
  5. Add broccoli and bell peppers to the pan, adding water or broth to steam; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes
  6. Return chicken to the pan, pour sauce over and toss for 1-2 minutes until thickened
