1/2 cup Hoisin Sauce
1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger, minced
3 cloves Garlic Cloves, minced
2 cups Broccoli Florets
1 large Red Bell Pepper, sliced
2 tablespoons Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
1 teaspoon Toasted Sesame Oil
1 tablespoon Cornstarch
Instructions
- Start by slicing the chicken into bite-sized, uniform pieces and pat it dry
- In a small bowl, combine the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, toasted sesame oil, and cornstarch; whisk until smooth
- Heat a pan over high heat with oil, add the chicken in a single layer, and sear for 2-3 minutes then flip and cook for 2 more minutes
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the pan and stir constantly for about 30 seconds
- Add broccoli and bell peppers to the pan, adding water or broth to steam; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes
- Return chicken to the pan, pour sauce over and toss for 1-2 minutes until thickened
