Description

These Monster Taco Skulls are a playful twist on traditional taco night, made with clean, whole-food ingredients that provide a rich, spiced filling and satisfying crunch. They are perfect for both children and health-conscious adults, embodying the essence of classic Mexican flavors while prioritizing nutrition.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb Grass-fed Ground Beef or Turkey
2 tbsp Organic Taco Seasoning (Cumin, Chili, Garlic)
68 large Grain-free or Whole Wheat Tortillas
1 cup Bell Peppers, finely diced
1/2 cup Red Onion, minced
1/2 cup Black Beans (soaked and rinsed)
1/2 cup Shredded Grass-fed Cheddar or Nut Cheese
1 tbsp Avocado Oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the avocado oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced red onion and diced bell peppers, sautéing until they become soft and translucent
  2. Add your choice of grass-fed beef or turkey to the skillet. Break the meat apart with a wooden spoon and cook until it is no longer pink
  3. Sprinkle the organic taco seasoning over the meat and vegetables. Stir in the black beans and a splash of filtered water. Simmer the mixture for five minutes
  4. Lightly grease a skull-shaped baking pan with a small amount of avocado oil. Cut your tortillas into shapes that fit the cavities of the mold. Gently press the tortillas into the skull indentations
  5. Spoon the savory filling into each tortilla-lined mold. Top with shredded cheese
  6. Place the pan in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C). Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges of the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese has melted
  7. Allow the pan to sit for five minutes before gently removing the Monster Taco Skulls

Notes

Use a high-quality non-stick skull mold to ensure easy release.

To make tortillas pliable, wrap them in a damp cloth and microwave for ten seconds.
