Ingredients
12–16 pieces Cocktail Sausages or Mini Franks
1 can (8 oz) Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough
Small amount Yellow Mustard or Candy Eyes
1 Egg + 1 tbsp Water Egg Wash
Optional sprinkle Smoked Paprika or Everything Bagel Seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper
- Unroll the refrigerated crescent dough and press the perforations together. Slice the dough into thin, long strips
- Pat each cocktail sausage dry with a paper towel
- Wrap a strip of dough around each sausage, leaving a gap for the 'face'
- Lightly brush the dough strips with the egg wash mixture if using
- Bake on the prepared baking sheet for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown and crispy
- Once cooled slightly, dot mustard or ketchup in the gap for 'eyes' or use candy eyes
