Description

Philly Cheesesteak Sliders with Ground Beef offer a masterful balance of savory richness and bite-sized convenience. This recipe transforms a complex sandwich into an approachable, crowd-pleasing appetizer or weekday meal, showcasing the harmonious flavors of seasoned beef, melted cheese, and caramelized onions.

Ingredients

Scale

1.5 lbs Ground Beef (80/20)
12-pack Slider Buns (Brioche)
810 slices Provolone Cheese
1 large Yellow Onio
1 medium Green Bell Pepper
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 tbsp Butter
Salt and Black Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Sauté diced onions and bell peppers in a large skillet over medium-high heat until soft
  2. Add ground beef, breaking it into crumbles, and cook until no pink remains
  3. Stir in garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce, mixing until combined
  4. Slice slider buns in half horizontally and toast the bottom half in the oven for 5 minutes
  5. Spread the beef mixture over the bottom buns and layer cheese slices on top
  6. Cover with top buns, brush with melted butter, cover with foil, and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes

Notes

Draining excess fat after browning the meat helps maintain bun integrity.

Consider pre-toasting the buns to prevent sogginess.

Use a serrated knife for cutting sliders after baking.
