Description

Sausage Green Bean Potato Casserole is a comforting dish that combines smoky sausage, tender potatoes, and crisp green beans into a delicious one-pan meal perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

1416 ounces Smoked Sausage
1 pound Fresh Green Beans
1.5 pounds Yukon Gold Potatoes
3 tablespoons Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Onion Powder
1/2 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
1/4 cup Chicken Broth (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C)
  2. Slice the sausage into half-inch rounds. Wash, trim, and cut the green beans. Scrub and dice the potatoes into uniform one-inch cubes
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sausage, green beans, and potatoes. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated
  4. Spread the mixture in a 9×13 inch baking dish. Pour the optional chicken broth into the bottom if desired
  5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and continue baking for another 15 to 20 minutes, stirring halfway through
  6. Let the casserole rest for five minutes before serving

Notes

Use fresh green beans for the best texture. Frozen beans can be used, but thaw and dry them first.
