Ingredients
1 lb Grass-Fed Ground Beef or Turkey
1/4 cup Almond Flour
2 cloves Fresh Garlic (Minced)
1 tsp Fresh Grated Ginger
1/2 cup Coconut Aminos
1 tbsp Raw Honey or Maple Syrup
1 tsp Arrowroot Powder
Sesame Seeds (for garnish)
Green Onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large glass mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, almond flour, minced garlic, grated ginger, and a pinch of sea salt. Use your hands to gently fold the ingredients together until they are just combined
- Scoop approximately two tablespoons of the mixture at a time and roll them between your palms to create uniform balls
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with a tablespoon of avocado oil. Place the meatballs in the pan, avoiding crowding
- While the meatballs sear, whisk the coconut aminos, honey, and arrowroot powder in a small bowl
- Reduce the heat to medium and pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs. Let it bubble and thicken into a glossy glaze
- Toss the meatballs gently in the sauce for another 4 to 5 minutes until cooked through
- Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions
Notes
Ensure the ginger and garlic are fresh for better flavor.
Add a tablespoon of water to the sauce if it thickens too quickly.
